Back in March, I decided to let my sister cut my hair since the salons were closed. After I agonized over the initial decision (I mean, my hair was 30'' people! I was kinda attached to it!) I decided to just go for it!
I'm going to donate the hair we cut off to Wigs for Kids.
But, I also made a video of how my sister cut my hair! (This is one of those things that we looked up YouTube videos the morning of!)

DeleteOh wow! No way! That’s so exciting! Is your sister like studying to be a hair stylist or anything or did she just do it without studying or anything? April 2019 I got a foot cut off and I gave it to wigs for kids too! It’s so fun but it’s also weird to brush or run your hand through your hair and feel how short/ different it is!!

ReplyDeleteMy mom used to cut all my sisters' and my hair then I started cutting their hair, too. I love cutting girls' hair as long as they just want it simple. I can't do anything fancy. haha! I now cut my husband's hair, but it's not as fun as doing my sisters. ;)
Yes! It was! (My sisters hair is even longer than mine was!) I liked having long hair, but the length now is a lot more manageable and healthier looking at the ends. :)

I can totally understand it being more manageable. :) My hair can't grow very long, but even the length it does get sometimes needs just a good chop, so it can start fresh.
