Q&A & Giveaway Winner

Hey y'all! Thanks so much for submitting questions (awesome questions btw) for my THREE YEAR BLOGGING Q&A!! I still can't believe that I've been blogging for 3 years. But thanks for following along! I hope you enjoy the Q&A and don't forget to scroll all the way to the end to see who won the 3 giveaway prizes!!!

Q&A 

1. If you could invite 3 people to dinner who would they be? (It could be friends, celebrities, Bible characters, book characters, etc.) 

Ohh, great question! Hmm, I suppose i'd invite a few online friends over! (book characters would be fun too, but I can't think of any atm...)

2. If you could witness 3 historical events what would they be?

I'd want to witness discovering America, the pony express (or Oregon Trail), and just the timeframe that my Papa grew up in. 

3. What is your favorite summer activity?

I like a lot of things in summer! Gardening, swimming, biking, kayaking, jet skiing, hiking, etc! 

4. What’s your all time favorite book?

Girllll, that question is illegal in the bookworm community!!! Lets just say, I've narrowed down my all time favorite books to about 10! lol!

5. What is your favorite holiday?

This one's easy for me: Thanksgiving & Forth of July. Christmas too, bc everyone is in such good moods.

6. What's the craziest/weirdest thing you ever eaten?

Let's see, my favorite protein powder is sweetened with jackfruit. Is that crazy enough? 

7. What is your favorite "old" tv show? (50s, 60s, 70s or 80s)

Some of my favorite "old" shows/movies are: Little House on the Prairie, The Waltons, Father Murphy, Ma and Pa Kettle, Greene Acres, The Andy Griffith Show, Roy Rogers, etc! 

8. You are going on a road trip and can only take 3 items. What would they be? =)

Fun question! I'd take food (probably snacks for the road), a book (something exciting), and a pocket knife (cause you never know). 

9. What is your favorite thing about horses? :)

I love how they are a team with their rider... it's up to us to build that trust as a good leader. They also teach their owners so many things that can help them in life. So many lessons to be learned from your horse! 

10. What is your favorite type of pie? Why?

I have a couple favorite pies! I REALLY like French silk pie. And the best French silk pie I've had is from Village Inn in Florida. I also like cherry pie (with ice cream!!), and a sugar free blueberry pie that my Auntie makes! Oh, and peanut butter pie!!! 

11. How many blankets are on your bed? 

I have *goes and checks* 4 blankets on my bed! I live in the basement, so it gets cold down here! I also have a cool water heated mattress pad! 

12. How many followers do you want by the end of the year?

If I could get to 100, that would be cool. But honestly, I don't really care about my numbers on this blog. It's all about if people are reading the content not necessarily how many followers I can get. 

13. What is your least favorite post you posted? (and is still on the blog)

My least favorite... hmm, THIS one probably just because of the terribly unprofessional and childish graphics. I was playing around with my new phone and they were fun to make but I probably should have kept them to myself... *cringe* *whispers* Graphic designers have to start somewhere!

14. How long do you want to blog? Do you plan on going for another 3 year?

Good question!! I love having a blog, so don't see myself quitting any time soon. Although I don't know if I see this particular blog up and running for the next 3 years. Right now, I'm really business with school and life. Maybe in the future, I'll have a blog for my writing platform. Or maybe a more professional lifestyle platform. But right now, it's not my most priority to start another blog. Showers of Blessings is and always will be special because it's where sharing my writing all started. But, I can't guarantee I'll keep it active for the next 3 years. Hope that answered your question! <3

15. Does all the milk for your goat milk soap come from Lily? Or do you get it from elsewhere so you have steady supply? 

It does not. We used Lily's milk for that first year but eventually we had to buy more milk. Sometimes we do get local milk. 

16. What is your favorite music group?!

I'm not sure my favorite music "group" but my favorite genres are: Contemporary Christian, Country, some Jazz and some Soft Rock. Really, I love music to sing to while cleaning, in the car, etc! 

One of my favorite artists is Carrie Underwood! 

17. What is your favorite activity for a snowy day?

If it's a snowy day at the first of winter, I like going outside! Sledding, "ice skating" on our creek, playing a game called The Tracking Game, and snow skiing is fun too. But if it's been snowing for a while, I'd like to just stay inside by the fire with hot chocolate!
